Sunday.  Feels like Sun Day.  I was tempted to start the day in the clouds but, the sun is shining big time now.  All it took was a bit of tweaking of my attitude.  I was feeling a bit sorry for myself after reading all the great posts from my Face Book friends about their exciting 4th of July celebrations.  I had planned to celebrate the 4th with Neil and the Boston Pops but fell fast asleep before 10pm!

Actually, I could have planned something exciting to do but, after two weekends with company and being out of town, I really preferred to be alone.  It is when I look at the world and its activities that I second guess myself.  After all, aren’t I supposed to be doing it all just the way everybody else does it?  I don’t think so.  Freedom for me is freedom to be me.

I listened to “Mr. Positive” himself this morning, Joel Osteen.  He always helps me get an “attitude adjustment.”  His focus today was on speaking what you believe.  This idea is not new.  What I liked about Joel’s words is how he links this all back to Your Word.  I am a firm believer that You want us to be happy and that the Bible supports that fact.  Joel quoted the Bible verse:  Psalm 107:  “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,” and there are many other scripture verses that support Your delivering us (me) into Your freedom and an abundant life:

I am a child of God John 1: 12
I am the temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 6: 19
I am the apple of His eye. Zec.2: 8
I am free from condemnation Romans 8: 1
I am more than a conqueror Romans 8: 17
I am the salt of the earth. Mathew 5: 13

I am in the palm of the Lord’s Hand Isa. 49: 16

I am complete in Him. Col.2: 10

Joel also referenced:  Proverbs 18:21:  “we will eat the fruit of our tongues.”  I would add that we will also see the fruit of our thoughts.  I love the quote from the front of James Allen’s book, As a Man Thinketh (also As a Woman Thinketh!):

“Mind is the Master that moulds and makes, And Woman is Mind, and evermore she takes the tool of Thought, and, shaping what she wills, brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills:  — she thinks in secret, and it comes to pass:  Environment is but her looking-glass.”  (gender changed for my benefit!)

So, this morning, I am filled with joy and happiness. I am profoundly healthy, slim, trim, physically fit and energetic.  I am staying close and connected with my beautiful daughter and her family.  I am now enjoying frequent visits with my brother, Tim.  I am creative and doing wonderful writing each and every day.   I am creating a best-selling book that establishes my financial freedom.  I am in love with a wonderful man and planning my wedding to be followed by a honeymoon in Hawaii.    I am surrounded by terrific friends.  I am helping people reach their dreams and goals in life.  I am enjoying traveling and writing and daily adventures with my soul mate and husband (and a return to Trevi Fountain in Rome with said true love).

And, oh yes, Oprah and I are good friends after my having appeared on her show.  Amen!
