First day back at the office post-surgery.  Lots to catch up on.  Dropped puppies off for first official puppy grooming.  Only worked half day and was definitely tried afterward.  Interesting how much energy healing takes.  Not a lot left over for other things.

“God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.” (her).  1 John 4:16  This is a beautiful Bible verse, and I have most definitely been the beneficiary of this kind of love over the past week or so.  Family and friends have rallied round me offering assistance and going out of their way to be with me and take care of me following my surgery…..from my beautiful daughter and husband spending their New Year’s Eve in my living room to my good friend upending her work schedule in order to be with me and drive me around for a couple of days.  Also wonderful flowers from my boss and daily phone calls from him, my brother as well as emails and calls from friends.  I even got a get well card (is that old-fashioned in this email age?).  Another good friend offered to forego the last FSU game with Bobby Bowden to be with me but oh my God I could never let that happen!  But it was a very special offer!!  This is how I see the love of God in action and how I believe God wants us to express His/Her Love.  We love God when we Love others and as my Granny used to say, “actions speak louder than words.”  Did everyone’s Granny say that one?? Ha.

Tomorrow Vikki heads back home and I’ll be on my own again after a week of TLC.  Thank you all for your help, prayers and most of all your love.  I’m ready to return to ordinary life and can’t wait to build my strength back up and looks for ways to give some of that Love back into the world as I want God to remain in me and me remain in God.
